Why should children have all the fun? Our adult only programs are geared towards making sure everyone 18+ also has a good time in the water. Health and fitness is an Aqua Fun initiative to encourage more adults to participate in water activities. The water presents a whole new world of exercises for you to explore.
Want to learn how to swim? Our adult swim classes are right for you. Maybe you want to use the low-friction qualities of water to exercise. Try AquaFit for a high intensity hot water workout. Or take yoga to the next level with hot water yoga. With water removing the effects of gravity your body is able to find the optimum stretch. Our water yoga classes are one of a kind in Toronto.
And, of course, our adult programs are during our youth, leadership and adult times.

Adult Swimming Classes
Whether you’re just starting out or just want help with your strokes, our Adult program is for the young at heart – no matter what your age. Set your own goals.
Work with certified instructors to learn to swim, or improve your current swimming ability and water fitness. You won’t be going to the Olympics, but you’ll develop water confidence and smooth recognizable strokes good enough for lane swimming and fit enough for the beach.
We incorporate water safety education in all Adult levels.

This is a gentle, low impact work out performed in our 90˚ hot water therapy pool. Gentle tone aquafit will maintain if not increase your bone density as well as work muscles that are rarely used on land.
Hydro-static pressure improves blood circulation, reduces swelling in injured or swollen joints and helps decrease water retention. Your flexibility and co-ordination will improve, and best of all, you don’t need to know how to swim to participate.
AquaFit classes are currently offered on Thursday and Friday nights, from 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm at our Sunny View location. AquaFit classes are offered as 10 class packages. You can register for AquaFit classes here.
Hot Water Yoga
Imagine your yoga poses in zero gravity.
Learn basic moves to create a whole new aquatic experience that enables you to ‘understand’ the water. Hot Water Yoga classes focus on techniques to improve posture, breathing, flexibility, core stabilization, coordination and muscular endurance while using the soothing properties of the water.
